Companies provides warranty period so before buying should consult with owner. EER or Energy Efficiency Ratio is a measurement about efficiency of particular air conditioning units. If you can afford Ac, which has highest EER with unit of correct capacity then you should buy it. It is a false saving if you want buying a unit of lower EER that costs less. But lower cost unit may be bought in areas, with very small cooling season or very cheap power.
